What is a SENbetweener

A SENbetweener is the child who slips through the gaps. They may not have a formal diagnosis yet, but you know something is not right. They may be struggling at school but told they are doing fine. They may keep it all together at school then fall apart at home. They may be waiting months or years for an assessment. They may be moving between settings without anyone truly understanding their needs. They are the in-betweeners. And they matter.

Why we exist

We believe every neurodivergent young person deserves to be understood, supported, and empowered — diagnosis or no diagnosis. Too many families are left navigating the system alone. Too many professionals want to do better but lack the right tools. Too many children are waiting while their confidence and mental health suffer. We are changing that.
